What Is Group Family Child Care?
  • Care for a maximum of 12 children between 6 weeks - 12 years of age (including your own non-school age children) plus 2 additional after school children. In group family child care there are two adults caring for the children - the provider and his/her assistant.

  • No more than 4 children under the age of 2 can be cared for in a group family child care home. Each adult will care for 2 children under the age of 2.

  • When any child is under the age of 2, the maximum number of children is 10 plus two additional after school age children.
