CCI serves as one of five child care resource & referral service in New York City, helping thousands of families to make informed decisions about child care. Child care and early education referral services are open to all families with children ages birth to 12 throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Our trained child care referral specialists offer over 15 years of experience in the fields of early care and education.
We serve all five boroughs of New York City and families of all income levels. We provide two levels of service to help you find child care:
Our FREE Basic Referral Service offers:
- A list of child care providers and programs
- Consultation on child care, finding and choosing
- A Parent Child Care Guide offering step by step advice on finding child care
- Information on child care subsidies and tax credit
For a nominal fee parents can receive an Enhanced Referral Service, which offers ongoing assistance throughout your child care search, including:
- A customized child care search with referrals to at least three programs or providers with available vacancies
- An in-depth personal telephone consultation to determine your specific needs and help you to develop a workable, reliable child care plan
- Two check-in calls during your search
