Q: Can CCI discuss with me the various child care options and assist me in finding a setting appropriate for me and my child's needs?

Yes. The counselors are available to discuss child care options and to help you to make informed decisions about the kinds of child care that meet your needs. While the counselors will provide you with tools and information to assist you in determining how to evaluate various providers, the ultimate decision is yours.


Q: If I am dissatisfied with my initial choice of child care, can I get additional advice or referrals from the counselors?

Yes. You may call as often as you like, and the service will continue to work with you to explore all available options.


Q: Can CCI assist me with short term and/or emergency child care solutions?

Yes. The counselors will help you develop strategies for temporary and/or emergency care. They will provide you with options and make every effort to put you in touch with providers offering such services.


Q: Can CCI help me find care for my child with special needs?

Yes. The counselors strive to provide information about child care programs that can accommodate children with special needs. Although the counselors cannot provide advice on the most appropriate education or treatment plans for a particular child, counselors can refer you to other agencies in your community where such advice is available.

Q: Can CCI recommend the best programs in my neighborhood?
While the counselors are available to discuss child care options with you, Child Care, Inc. does not license, recommend or endorse any one provider over another.  We do encourage parents to exercise their right to evaluate and select the child care program that best meets the needs of their family.
